Synergy For Women Business Owners Announce Three New Board Members

The Board of Directors for Synergy for Women Business Owners (Synergy4wbo), has added three new members who will assist the organization in its mission of increasing opportunities for small business owners, particularly men and women of color. The company’s overall goal is to provide a diverse and inclusive community that supports, emboldens and cultivates minority and women-owned businesses.

Synergy4wbo, a 501c3 nonprofit, was co-founded by two women of color; Dr. Kim R. Grimes and Shirley Vincent, who are banking on their approach to dramatically alter the current narrative for minority and women business owners. The company has supported over 50 successful small businesses for more than three years and launched its first cohort for 2021 with five women business owners from around the US. The organization also taps into its successful network of corporate executives and entrepreneurs for support, which now includes its new board members.

Rebekah Flohr is an executive at Deutsche Bank, Charlotte Jensen is a recent Entrepreneur and Sathana Collins, a Human Resources Generalist, currently serves as the Senior Administrator for Synergy4WBO, providing administrative support not only to the current cohort, but also to the entire Synergy4WBO community.

As Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, Rebekah currently holds two positions: Global Head of Securities Services Sales and regional head of the Securities Services product in the Americas. During her tenure at the firm, she has held several senior positions across the organization, including Global Head of Agency Securities Lending and Americas Head of Institutional Platform Coverage where she was responsible for expanding business across Fixed Income, Currencies and Equities with the Bank’s top Institutional Clients. Throughout her career, Rebekah has diligently focused on creating and fostering a diverse, inclusive environment.

Charlotte has enjoyed a successful career at large, multinational corporations such as ABM Industries and Sodexo USA, both in C-level and senior leadership roles ranging from global sales and finance positions, to running large scale international operations teams serving top brands. Her strategic leadership style is open and inclusive while delivering transparent and direct communication internally and externally and her passion for gender parity has led her to mentoring dozens of leaders. She founded Guest Blueprint in October 2020 as a client centric, boutique, advisory firm supporting the sports and entertainment, aviation, hospitality, commercial real estate and education industries. Born and raised in Denmark, Charlotte has lived in six countries, speaks three languages.

Sathana’s extensive human resources background includes employee engagement and understanding of both local and global labor laws and compliance governance. She has resolved and addressed many critical issues for both employees and companies alike, alleviating their concerns, ensuring mutual balance is regained and correcting the path forward.
